1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Bozo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of the App, including users who create tournaments, join tournaments, or otherwise access any features of the App.
2. The Service
Bozo is a trivia tournament platform that lets groups of friends compete in daily question challenges over a set duration. The player with the lowest score at the end of the tournament is designated the "Bozo." We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use Bozo. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information updated. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations. • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App. • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App. • Harass, abuse, or harm other users. • Use automated means to access or interact with the App. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Payments & Stakes
Some tournaments may involve financial stakes agreed upon between participants. Bozo does not facilitate, process, or guarantee any payments between users. Any financial arrangements are strictly between the participants. Bozo is not responsible for any disputes arising from payment arrangements between users. Users are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding wagering or competitions in their jurisdiction.
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Bozo or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the App without our express written permission.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Trivia questions and answers are provided for entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bozo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bozo operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
