Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Bozo we collect: • Account information — your display name, email address, and profile photo (optional). • Usage data — tournament results, answer times, accuracy rates, and other in-app activity. • Device information — device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers. • Communications — messages you send to our support team. We do not collect payment card details. Any financial arrangements between participants are handled entirely outside the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the App. • Create and manage your account. • Calculate and display tournament standings and stats. • Send you service-related notifications (e.g. tournament invitations, daily question alerts). • Respond to your support requests. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents. • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with: • Other participants — your display name, avatar, and in-game stats are visible to players in the same tournament. • Service providers — third-party vendors (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics) who help us operate the App, under strict confidentiality obligations. • Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bozo or others. • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer. Aggregate, anonymised statistics derived from your activity may be retained indefinitely.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest — to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please notify us immediately at security@bozo.app if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data. • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"). • Object to or restrict certain processing. • Export your data in a machine-readable format. 7. Children's Privacy

Bozo is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us at bozo@dualnodelabs.com.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
